Quick guides

Quick guides make it easy to add single guides in some of the most commonly used places, and make it easy to clear guides.

Left guide

Clicking the Left guide button places a vertical guide on the left side of the context.

Vertical midpoint guide

Clicking the Vertical midpoint guide button places a vertical guide in the middle of the context.

Right guide

Clicking the Right guide button places a vertical guide on the right side of the context.

Clear guides

In Photoshop, clicking the Clear guide button clears all guides within each context. When the context is an artboard or document, GuideGuide clears every guide in that artboard or document. When the context is a layer or group of layers, GuideGuide clears the guides that cross within the boundaries of the selected layers..

In Illustrator, this will simply clear all guides. If you would like to clear specific guides, you can select them and delete them.

Top guide

Clicking the Top guide button places a horizontal guide at the top of the context.

Horizontal midpoint guide

Clicking the Horizontal midpoint guide button places a horizontal guide in the middle of the context.

Bottom guide

Clicking the Bottom guide button places a horizontal guide at the bottom of the context.
