Make a baseline grid

The baseline grid, a grid made of equally spaced horizontal guides use for setting type, can be helpful when aligning elements with text in your design. There are multiple ways to do this with GuideGuide, but the easiest way is to use the Grid tab.

1. Navigate to the Grid tab
2. In the Rows section, fill in 18px or the measurement of your choice into the Height field.
3. Click the Add guides button.

If you wish to have your baseline grid in a specific part of your design, use a selection to set GuideGuide’s context.
