How to Remove Guides in Sketch

It’s easy to remove guides in Sketch, and there are multiple ways to do it.

Remove all guides

1. Enable document rulers in the menubar by going to View > Canvas > Show Rulers.
2. Right click on a ruler to open the context menu.
3. Click Remove all Horizontal/Vertical Guides.

Remove specific guides

1. Enable document rulers in the menubar by going to View > Canvas > Show Rulers.
2. Move your mouse over the portion of a guide that is within the ruler.
3. Right click on the guide to open the context menu.
4. Click Remove Guide.
5. Alternatively, you can click the guide and drag it to either edge of the ruler. Your cursor will turn to a Ⓧ symbol. When you release the mouse, the guide will be removed.

Note that this only works inside the ruler area. You cannot interact with guides over the canvas.
