Recover your license

GuideGuide has been sold in many places and formats over the years. What you need to recover depends on what you bought: a license key, or the files for GuideGuide 4, the “full version” I sold before May 2018.

Recover your license key

If you’ve forgotten your license key, you can recover it from the FastSpring order management site . FastSpring is my payment provider — every GuideGuide purchase since May 2018 has gone through them.

  1. The form linked above will send you an email with a link to access your order.
  2. Once you have access, switch to the Orders tab.
  3. Your first order (bottom of the list) will have your license key listed.

The site is admittedly hard to figure out. If you have trouble, you can always contact support.

Recover a GuideGuide 4 purchase

If you bought GuideGuide before May 2018, you bought GuideGuide 4 — a “full version” download with no license key at all. If you don’t remember ever having a key and you’ve had GuideGuide for a long time, this is probably what you’ve been using.

You are still entitled to the files you bought. To recover your GuideGuide files, please contact support.
