Install GuideGuide

Before following the instructions for installing, you must first download the latest version of GuideGuide.

Photoshop

  1. Unzip the <version>-guideguide-ps.zip file you previously downloaded.
  2. Double click the <version>-guideguide-ps.ccx file within.
  3. The Creative Cloud application will launch. Follow the directions.
  4. You will find GuideGuide at Plugins > GuideGuide.

When installing from a local file, you may be prompted with messages like “Couldn’t verify plugin” and a warning that GuideGuide is developed by a third-party developer (me). These messages are to be expected, as the local versions of GuideGuide have not gone through the full Adobe marketplace review. You may simply click “Ok” to proceed.

If you see a “Compatible app required” error when installing, please reinstall Photoshop via the Creative Cloud app. Some people have reported that Creative Cloud can sometimes not know that Photoshop is installed.
