Uninstall GuideGuide

If you’re uninstalling GuideGuide because you’ve moved on to an app that it doesn’t support, consider signing up for the product update mailing list. This is where I announce support for new versions, and I don’t send messages often.

The process for uninstalling GuideGuide varies by host application.

Photoshop

MacOS

  1. Launch the Creative Cloud application.
  2. Navigate to the Plugins tab.
  3. Click the ⋯ icon.
  4. Select Uninstall from the list.
  5. Optionally, delete your GuideGuide data file: /<USER>/Library/Application Support/UXP/PluginsStorage/PHSP/<VERSION>/a99f111a/PluginData/storage.json

Windows

  1. Launch the Creative Cloud application.
  2. Navigate to the Plugins tab.
  3. Click the ⋯ icon.
  4. Select Uninstall from the list.
  5. Optionally, delete your GuideGuide data file: C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\PluginStorage\PHSP\<VERSION>\External\a99f111a\PluginData\storage.json

Illustrator

  1. Delete the plugin files: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/me.guideguide.ai/
  2. Optionally, delete your GuideGuide data file: /<USER>/Library/Application Support/me.guideguide.ai/storage.json

Windows

  1. Delete the plugin files: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\me.guideguide.ai\
  2. Optionally, delete your GuideGuide data file: C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\me.guideguide.ai\storage.json

  1. Delete the plugin files: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/me.guideguide.id/
  2. Optionally, delete your GuideGuide data file: /<USER>/Library/Application Support/me.guideguide.id/storage.json

Sketch

  1. From Sketch, go to Plugins > Manage Plugins.
  2. Right click GuideGuide in the list.
  3. Select ‘Uninstall “GuideGuide”’ from the list.
  4. Optionally, delete your GuideGuide data file: /<USER>/Library/Application Support/ me.guideguide.sk/storage.json
